New Maldives leader Waheed Hassan denies coup claim
New Maldives President Mohammed Waheed Hassan has said that it is unfair to describe the removal of President Mohamed Nasheed as a coup. He said that there was no pre-arranged plan for him to stage a takeover. But former President Nasheed says that he has been the victim of an organised coup.
